Scott Hutcheson represented Huntsville on the Worlds Best Skiing courses as a member of Canada’s National Ski Team from 1979 to 1981, and he represented Canada at the World Championships in 1982 at Schladming, Austria. In the fall of 1982 Scott joined the University of Utah as a scholarship student, on their ski team. During his career at The University of Utah, Scott Hutcheson was chosen a First Team All American in skiing, as well as an Academic All American. Scott later coached the University of Utah as Head Alpine Coach, and while coaching won three National Championship titles. Scott continues his skiing activities as an advisor to the Canadian Ski Association and the Canadian Olympic Association.
