Bob Hutcheson was instrumental in ski development not only in Muskoka but across the globe. Bob was passionate about skiing and served on the original Huntsville Ski Club board of directors. During this time, Bob’s son Scott was racing around the world with the Alpine Canada’s Crazy Canuck and Bob began to get more involved with Federation International Skiing (FIS) Alpine. Bob became a certified official and spent many years at Olympic and World Cup events officiating. He raised the level of timing expectations for world class competitions. Bob’s company Hutcheson Environmental and Hutcheson Sand and Gravel have also played their role in Olympic Beach Volleyball. The official sand of world cup beach volleyball comes from Huntsville.
