Big things were expected from this hockey team from the onset and the boys did not disappoint. The team did not lose a regular season game in the Muskoka Parry Sound loop and went into the playoff facing a very good Parry Sound Shamrock team. They were a formidable opponent, but the Huntsville lads got by them in three tight games to advance to the quarter final round. In the quarters the team had to face the Penetang Kings midget team who in their own right were a powerhouse. The series went back and forth and culminated in a game seven at the Huntsville Arena. Playing to a packed house regulation solved nothing and neither did the first overtime. Huntsville persevered in double overtime much to the delight of the Huntsville crowd. The semi -final match up was against the Gananoque Midget hockey team. This team presented a different challenge as they were a big physical hockey team playing in front of a boisterous crowd. In a tight series the Arrowhead Motor Midgets eliminated the boys down east in six games leading to the final series against the Goderich midgets. The Huntsville players were up to the task and dominated their opponent taking the championship in five games with a 10-4 win on Huntsville ice to finish the series. The Arrowhead Motor Midgets did themselves proud as BB All Ontario Midget Champions
