Gail Cummings-Danson began her career playing literally every sport that was available to her while growing up in Huntsville. Each time she participated, she would show a consistent determination to excel. Whether it was a a track star, Nordic Skier, or tennis player Gail showed signs of potential excellence. But it was as a hockey and box lacrosse player that Gail began to shown signs of true potential. Gail was a member of 3 Provincial and 2 Canadian Championship Box Lacrosse Teams. Using this excellent background Gail moved to the sport of Women`s Field Lacrosse. As a sixteen year old, Gail participated in the World Field Lacrosse Championships scoring in every game, Canada played. Upon high school graduation Gail joined Temple University on a Field Lacrosse scholarship. And what a career! 3 time All American, 6 school scoring records, NCAA single scoring record, NCAA career points record, and perhaps most important a GTE academic All American with a grade point average of 3.41. Gail recently attended her 3rd World Championships, this time in Australia. Now married she remains in the United States where she is now embarking on a coaching career.
