In 1982, Paul Kennedy moved to the town of Huntsville with an already impressive list of accomplishments in the game of golf, including representing Ontario as a 15 year old at the 1970 Canadian championships. Paul competed at several levels including the Canadian Tour from 1979-1981 where he had numerous top 10 finishes across Canada. After his arrival in Huntsville in 1982, Paul Kennedy continued to excel by winning the 1983 Rolex pro-pro championship with partner Scott Knapp. In 1994, Paul Kennedy won the Canadian Professional Golf Association club professional championship, held in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Personal career highlights for Paul Kennedy was winning two national championships, one Canadian Tour win, and playing fi ve times in the Canadian Open, teeing up alongside the likes of Lee Trevino, Tom Watson and Arnold Palmer, as well as Canadian greats Al Balding, George Knudson and Moe Norman. Paul Kennedy has also played a significant role in bringing world class golf to the Muskoka tourism market working with the designers of Deerhurst and Bigwin golf clubs. Paul Kennedy was made a life member of the PGA of Canada in 2012
